LLT008 - Ethiopian Rift Valley Tour

Day 1:
Arrive Addis Ababa Bole International airport meet by your Ethiopian Local Guide then drive to hotel, Breakfast will be served upon your arrival and have short rest at the hotel, around 10:30 start your sightseeing in Addis Ababa. Addis Ababa Founded in the late 1880s by Emperor Menelik II to days has many things to show our visit includes the trinity cathedral, National Museum, Drive on slopes of Mount Entoto, to admire a beautiful panoramic view of the city (over 3000 meter above sea level) and the largest market in Africa called Merkato.
Day 2:
Drive to Lake Langano via Butajira on the way visit the Palo anthropological site Mekela kuntire (55KM form Addis) near to Awash River which is one of the Palo anthropology display then drive to the Tiya (85KM from Addis Ababa) one of the (WHS: world Heritage site), here you will encounter the stele stone which goes back to 12 th-15 th A.D. there is a 36 stele and from this 31 of them has an art-work, continue to Langano via the Ziway road afternoon enjoy the Rift valley Lake of Langano at Sabana Lodge. Overnight sabana Lodge/ similar Lodge.
Day 3:
Morning relax at the sabana Lodge around 10:00AM depart for Arbaminch on the way pass different scenery of the landscape and afternoon visit the Alaba people village, Late in the afternoon arrive at Arbaminch. Overnight Swayens hotel.
Day 4:
Morning visit the Dorze village and then a visit to the traditional village of Chencha, where you will be fascinated by the waving style of the Dorze people, here you will also see the panoramic view of the two Rift valley Lakes. Afternoon make a boat excursion on Lake Chamo admire the longest African crocodile and the biggest hippos. Overnight swayens hotel.
Day 5:
Drive from Arabminch to konso 90KM on the way admire the landscape and the scenery of the gate of Omo valley upon arrival at Konso make check in at Kenta Lodge have lunch, then afternoon visit the Konso one of the world heritage site in Ethiopia, the visit includes the traditional community village, meeting the Konso king and their famous trussing system which makes this community to recognize by UNESCO as a world herniate site. Overnight Kenta Lodge.
Day 6:
Early in the morning depart Konso to Awassa on the way visit farm land of Arbaminch area late in the afternoon arrives at Awassa the lake side city lay on the Rift valley system, have lunch in Awassa thenthen make a boat trip on Lake Awassa, Relax at Haile Resort Awassa. Overnight Pina hotel.
Day 7:
Morning relax at Haile resort at Awassa visit the morning fish market. Drive from Awassa to Debrezeyit Babogaya Resort on the way visit the RasTeferian village at Shashemene then proceed to the Rift valley Lakes Abijata and shalla Lakes, and the Oromo Village around koka area afternoon arrive at Babogaya Resort. Overnight Isak Resort or Ashame Africa Resort.
Day 8:
Morning relax at Babogaya Resort afternoon drive back to Addis Ababa visit the old Emperor Haile Selassie palace in the courtyard of the Addis Ababa university then drive to Churchill road for some shopping, evening fare wall dinner in one of the traditional Restaurant where you enjoy traditional dance then transfer to the airport for your departure.
